After rhinoplasty in Turkey, patients should plan to stay in the country for 7 to 8 days. You typically stay 1 night in the hospital after surgery for monitoring. Around Day 6 or Day 7 post-op, your surgeon will perform a thorough check-up, remove the internal silicone splints and external thermoplastic cast, and apply light surgical tape. Once your surgeon confirms healing is on track and gives you a Fit-to-Fly certificate on Day 7 or 8, it is safe to fly home.
